Pricing Information:
All prices listed and quoted on Alaskantoursandvacations.com are retail rates in United States dollars (USD).  All taxes are included unless stated otherwise.  

Payment Information:
We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express, PayPal payments, agency checks, cashiers checks or money orders.  You can also pay using a credit card after receiving an emailed invoice from us, or you can submit you payment information to us on our Payment Form.  We also accept bank wire transfers with an additional charge  of $30.00 for the wire transfer fee.  Agency commissions are paid after travel is complete and reservations are paid in full. 

Reservation and Tour Confirmation Policy:
To confirm a reservation, 50% of the total price is required at the time the tour is confirmed, with the remaining balance due in full 60 days prior to the tour departure date.  Your initial deposit is not due until your reservation has been confirmed in writing from our vendors.  Once we receive that written confirmation of your reservation, we will email you an invoice for the deposit amount and a confirmation of the reservation details and your deposit payment, along with some helpful trip planning materials.   

Your tour ticket vouchers, travel documents and itinerary will be sent to you approximately 30 days prior to your tour departure date.  And of course, we can forward these items to you earlier upon request.     If you have booked a last minute reservation or one made within 30 days of the tour date, we will make sure these travel documents get to you in time for your tour.

Deposit Amounts:  
All reservations require 50% of the total price to confirm.   (Note that reservations with a balance of $300.00 or less require full payment at the time of confirmation.)


At 60 days prior to departure, the remaining 50% balance of total price is due.

For reservations made within 60 days of departure, 100% of total price is due upon confirmation.

And as noted above, upon receipt of your initial deposit, we will send you written email confirmation of your reservation and trip planning materials. Please note that all funds received and required for payment of our vendors are kept in a separate bank account from our company operating funds until paid.

Group Deposit Policy:
To qualify as a group reservation, there must be 10 or more persons in the party.

A $150.00 per person deposit is required to confirm a group booking.  

120 days prior to to the tour departure, 25% of the total invoice is due.

90 days prior to the tour departure, another 25% of the total invoice is due,
               along with an update on the status of the group.  

60 days prior to the tour departure, the remaining 50% balance is due,
               along with an update on the status of the group.
 

Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations must be received in writing in our office (email, fax or mail) in order for the cancellation to be valid.  
If a cancellation occurs, the per person cancellation fee is the following:

Anytime after our written confirmation is issued: 10% of total tour price.

Between 45-60 days of the tour departure date, 25% of the total tour price.

Between 31-44 days of the tour departure date, 50% of the total tour price.

30 days or less of the tour departure date, 100% of the total tour price.

No shows or not appearing for a travel booking will result in no refund.   Any refund requests must be made in writing and received by our office within 14 days of trip completion. No refunds will be made on any unused portions of any itinerary omitted by guests while traveling.  No refunds will be considered until all travel documents are returned to Alaskan Tours and Vacations, Inc.

Changes:
Once a tour package has been confirmed and the confirmation invoice issued, any subsequent changes to the booking will incur a $25.00 per person change charge, plus any additional vendor charges for such changes. the subsequent addition of day tours to a package will not incur this $25.00 per person change fee.

Weather:
Occasionally weather can impact scheduled and nonscheduled flights or other kinds of transportation. If additional services are required by guests as a result of delays, weather or other conditions beyond the control of the operator or vendor, the guests will be responsible for their own meals, lodging or other expenses.   Neither Alaskan Tours and Vacations, Inc., the participating air carrier(s), accommodations and/or service vendor will assume any additional expenses caused by adverse weather conditions or other acts of God. Under no circumstances can Alaskan Tours and Vacations, Inc. be held responsible for "Acts of God," weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control.

Responsibility, Liability and Extra Costs:
As the tour operator, Alaskan Tours and Vacations, Inc. contracts with vendors, carriers, hoteliers and others to provide you with the travel services you reserve. These business are independent vendors and Alaskan Tours and Vacations, Inc. does not have any direct control of these vendors or their services, operations and products. We are only responsible for the coordinating, reserving and arranging the itinerary and we are not responsible for any damages, claims, losses or additional expenses or costs.   Alaskan Tours and Vacations, Inc. reserves the right to cancel or alter any package due to concerns for safety or other conditions.

The guest's payment of tour costs constitutes the guest's acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms as described here and in the confirmation invoice.
